Alizée Jacotey (born 21 August 1984) is a French pop icon whose career has spanned multiple musical eras and reinventions. Bursting onto the scene in mid 2000 with the smash hit Moi… Lolita, she quickly became France’s brightest new star, captivating audiences across Europe, Asia, and beyond. Her early albums, Gourmandises (2000) and Mes courants électriques (2003), defined her as the “princesse de la pop française,” blending catchy melodies with a playful yet sophisticated image.

After a short break from the spotlight, Alizée returned with the eclectic Psychédélices (2007) and the avant-garde Une enfant du siècle (2010), showing her willingness to evolve and experiment. In 2013, she charmed a new generation by winning Danse avec les stars and released 5 (2013), her first album in six years, featuring the lead single À cause de l’automne, which showcased her evolving sound. She followed this with Blonde (2014), marking the close of one chapter in her musical journey. From 2000 to 2014, Alizée’s voice, style, and artistry have left an indelible mark on French pop culture and the hearts of fans worldwide.
